Dog Shirt Size by Breed
Here's the size most dogs of each breed wear in our shirts, based on the chest measurements in our size guide. Every dog is built a little differently, so treat this as a starting point. For a size that fits first go, measure your dog's chest (the widest part, just behind the front legs) and use our 60-second size finder. If your dog is between sizes, size up, because our 190gsm cotton has 5% spandex for stretch.

Extra Small (XS): 39–49 cm chest
Chihuahua, Chinese Crested, Miniature Dachshund, Maltese, Papillon, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle and Yorkshire Terrier.
Small (S): 49–57 cm chest
Boston Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Cavapoo, Standard Dachshund, Griffon, Jack Russell Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer, Miniature Poodle, Pug and Shih Tzu.
Medium (M): 57–67 cm chest
Beagle, Cavoodle, Cocker Spaniel, Corgi, French Bulldog, Miniature Groodle or Labradoodle, and Spoodle. Broad, chunky Frenchies often need a Large.
Large (L): 65–75 cm chest
Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Husky, Kelpie, Standard Poodle and Staffy. Very muscly Staffies may need an XL.
Extra Large (XL): 73–83 cm chest
American Staffy, Boxer, Bull Terrier, English Bulldog, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Standard Groodle or Labradoodle, and Labrador Retriever.
XXL: 81–91 cm chest
Cane Corso, Doberman Pinscher and Rottweiler.
Mixed breed or not listed?
Grab a soft tape measure and measure around the widest part of your dog's chest, just behind the front legs, while they're standing. Then match it to the chest column in our size chart, or let the size finder do it for you. Fluffy coats can add a few centimetres, so measure over the fur.
