Sizing
What size dog shirt does my dog need?
Measure your dog's neck (where the collar sits) and chest (the widest part, just behind the front legs) while they're standing, then use our 60-second size finder. Our sizes run XS to XXL: XS fits a 39–49 cm chest, S 49–57 cm, M 57–67 cm, L 65–75 cm, XL 73–83 cm and XXL 81–91 cm. The full chart is on our size guide.
What size shirt does a French Bulldog wear?
Most French Bulldogs wear a Medium (57–67 cm chest). Broad, chunky Frenchies often need a Large. Our French Bulldog models Chester and Fergus wear a Medium and a Large. See all French Bulldog clothes.
What size shirt does a Cavoodle or Cavapoo wear?
Toy Cavoodles and Cavapoos usually wear a Small (49–57 cm chest), and standard Cavoodles usually wear a Medium (57–67 cm chest). Fluffy coats can add a few centimetres, so measure over the fur. See all Cavoodle clothes.
What size shirt does a Staffy wear?
Most Staffordshire Bull Terriers wear a Large (65–75 cm chest), as do Kelpies and Border Collies. Very muscly Staffies may need an XL. See all Staffy clothes.
My dog is between sizes. Which should I choose?
Size up. Our fabric has plenty of stretch, so the bigger size will still sit nicely and be more comfortable.
What if the size isn't right?
Your first size exchange is free. Email info@vibranthound.com within 30 days of your first purchase with your order number and the size you need, and we'll swap it for the same style in a different size.
Fabric, fit and care
What are Vibrant Hound dog shirts made of?
Our dog shirts are 190gsm cotton with 5% spandex, so they're soft, breathable and stretchy. They're cut for real dog shapes, from barrel-chested Frenchies to long, lean breeds.
Can my dog go to the toilet while wearing the shirt?
Yes. The front of our shirts sits higher than the back, so toilet stops don't mean getting undressed.
How do I wash my dog's shirt?
Machine wash cold, ideally inside out, and air dry. That keeps the print bright and the cotton soft.
Who designs the prints?
Every print is our own design, created in Brisbane, Australia.
Will you restock a print once it sells out?
Most of our prints are limited runs and aren't restocked once they sell out. If you love a print, grab your size while it's available. Prints that are down to their last sizes show a "Final stock" note.
Cooling shirts
How do dog cooling shirts work?
Soak the shirt in cool water, wring it out and put it on your dog. As the water evaporates, it draws heat away and helps keep your dog cool. Re-wet it whenever it dries out. Our dog cooling shirts are made from a breathable mesh that dries fast and stays light.
Are cooling shirts safe for hot Australian days?
A cooling shirt helps your dog stay comfortable on warm days, but it isn't a substitute for shade, fresh water and rest. Avoid walks in the heat of the day and never leave your dog unattended in hot conditions. If your dog shows signs of heat stress, such as heavy panting, drooling or lethargy, cool them down and contact your vet.
Shipping
How fast do you ship?
We dispatch orders the next business day from Brisbane, and you'll get a tracking number when your order ships. Australian standard delivery via Australia Post usually takes 3–10 business days. Express delivery is $12.50 and usually takes 1–4 business days.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard shipping is $10.95, and it's free on orders of $45 or more. That's any two shirts, even with your welcome discount. Free shipping applies to Australian and international orders.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. International standard shipping takes an estimated 10–25 business days, and international express is a flat $30 (an estimated 5–18 days). Any customs duties or import taxes are paid by the recipient. Full details are in our shipping policy.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
You can return dog clothing within 30 days of purchase for store credit. Items must be in new condition with no dog hair or odour, and return shipping is paid by the customer. Final sale items and gift cards can't be returned. If an item is faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law.
